Social Distancing at The Station

In preparation for the re-opening of pubs and restaurants, local tenants Rob and Juliet Todd, of The Station Inn in Swannington, Leicestershire, made the decision to invest in a large commercial marquee for their beer garden.

They couldn’t have imagined the response from some of their tradesmen regulars, who took the project in hand.

Digger, railway sleepers, stone, whacker plate, sand and 50m² of Terraplas’ terraturf temporary flooring … and a lot of hard graft later and the result is a fabulous outdoor space.

This will allow their clients to adequately Socially Distance while enjoying the company of friends, and once Covid-19 is properly ‘kicked into touch’, Rob and Ju will be left with a 10m x 5m function room in which to host special events.
